I was at work on Saturday night and as 'X Factor' was on the tv as it has become a national treasure which seems to have replaced the Eurovision song contest as that tv show which everyone gets to together to watch. I do not like these tv programs because I think covers does not tell about how good of an artist somebody will be. We get bombarded with covers of Micheal Jackson and Mariah Carey every year, leaving Nan, Mum and Sister's in awe. I just do not buy it.

In between the main show and the results show they put on a different program which happened to be a Christmas special of Girls Aloud who won the show some time ago. I watched this whilst doing my job, as they really capture me, not because of their fantastic music, because they are completely crap, but due to the fact of how beautiful they are. I apologize now for being shallow. The show was bad, but got worse when they introduced a guest to perform in the form of the Kaiser Chiefs. I thought at this this, this may well be interesting. I was wrong, it was possibly the worst so-called duet I have ever seen.

I would be interested to know if you have seen worse.

I have woke up this morning after a heavy night of wine and beer down the Amersham Arms feeling absolutely crappy. Fun times. Well, i thought id check this site and i see its a bit dead at the moment so i thought id try inspire myself to post a blog.

What i found was a couple of videos.

The first one being from Kaiser Chiefs new album which i have not got round to buying. For some reason I kind of hate the chiefs. I am not sure why, maybe becuase they earnt there 'pop wings' way before they were indie. The first album was really poppy but with this new single i think i would feel more confortable listening to the album.

The second video i found was from one of my favorite bands, MGMT, who are seeming more and more pop to the average joe. Anyway, the song is 'Kids' which is really good. Its about the 4th best song on the album which shows that it really a marketable band. The video is quite 'nu rave' with some funky dance moves thrown in for good measure. I think the song keeps up the 'trippy hippy' appeal they have.

God Bless

I think there are music albums coming out on the horizons to look forward too:

The kaiser Chiefs - 20th Oct 2008 - Off with their Heads

Bloc Party - 27th Oct 2008 - Intimacy

Fall Out boy - 3rd Nov 2008 - Folie a Deux

Razorlight - 3rd Nov 2008 - Slipway Fires

The Killers - 10th Nov - Day and age

I think this is enough to be getting on with. Although i think the Killers and Fall Out Boy are the ones I most look forward to burning out on the C.D player
