VAMPIRE WEEKEND

I downloaded this album about 3 weeks ago.
I heard them about 9'o'clock at reading festival and it was very jovial.
It was very chilled, both mood and climate wise
In regards to style, the band are slightly alike to Jack Johnson in the way a lot of the music is guitar based.
I believe that Vampire Weekend are bringing something the already large pop table table as they choose to add some distinct African beats along with a slightly retro twist and shout 70's style.
They are an easy listen so i do not think anybody would be offended at the thought of liking them.

The Album is self titled.
I particularly enjoy the singles naturally, although its all listenable. If listening to for the first time i would recommend first listening to 'Oxford Comma' or 'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa' and 'Mansard Roof'

The track listing is as followed:

01. Mansard Roof
02. Oxford Comma
03. A-Punk
04. Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa
05. M79
06. Campus, Bryn
07. One (Blake's Got A New Face)
08. I Stand Corrected
09. Walcott
10. The Kids Don't Stand A Chance
