The band - which originally comprised of vocalist Tyson Stevens, guitarists DJ Wilson and Chad Crawford, and drummer Peter Costa - recorded their debut EP, After Dark, while they were still in high school.
The band released their first full-length album in 2005. Entitled The City Sleeps in Flames, it was recorded in five weeks and produced by Brian McTernan.
Their second, self-titled album was released on August 28, 2007. Pouyan Afkary spoke of the album saying, "We were so proud of this album that we had no other name for it. This is what Scary Kids is all about to this day."
Only Recently starting listening to this band but i must say they are pretty damn good!
The music is a mixture of indie/screamo.

i am listening to these guys as i type this.
faces is pretty decent which is the only song in your top ten tunes that is on their myspace. i think i may have to do a little more research. the songs on myspace ares till decent.
